is it worth it to get along with people and yet they disappoint more often than taking a bathroom break? it is not easy and it takes work and cooperation but yes, it is worth it. it is easier to give up the need to interact if we see ourselves as always on the right, but we are not. looking at the bigger picture, none of us is perfect. we also end up being someone else’s burden or challenge because we also disappoint. as it is said over and again, human beings are social creatures. this makes relationships and the desire to be accepted just as we are a basic need, which can differ depending on genetics or experience. let us look at why we need this, to interact and relate with others. in the face of adversity in face of tragedy, we come together to support and encourage one another or the affected people. we share the load we are carrying and lighten the burden on others’ shoulders by sharing. working together, we are stronger and we last longer in the harsh conditions. a disaster naturally gathers us together with the common desire to affiliate. strangers provide for strangers, community sprouts and people comfort one another. beyond likes the effort of making friends has been reduced to pressing a button, thanks to social media. there is absolutely no problem with using the social media moderately but when it reaches a point it completely replaces authentic relationships, there is a problem. we need to have face-to-face interaction to reduce loneliness and care more. we can put our phones aside in a gathering and truly listen, and be heard. this builds meaningful relationships that are life-giving. i believe those we call trolls on the internet can be cured by having good quality relationships, or just a hug to reduce their bitterness. if our relationships become better and evolve as much as technology does, we will be living. reduce stress it is ironic to read that and yet earlier i said it can be a source of stress. so how can it be both? nothing good comes easy, healthy relationships are built on mutual acceptance and being intentional. they are a responsibility and when we ignore this, they become a source of stress instead of a reliever of it. to interact with people going through the same or more challenging situations gives us hope. we relax more knowing that it is not the end of the world. reduce loneliness every human has a void for human relationships and that is why loneliness is painful. healthy and reliable relationships feel like a source of life as long as we put in mind the need to accept each other as we are; avoiding to put up walls and masks with fear of disappointment and exclusion. acceptance makes us feel that we are not left out. better thoughts spending too much alone time may give a leeway for negative thoughts to flourish. especially if one feels secluded, angry and disappointing thoughts will feel your mind. the craving to interact increases and one may notice how quenching it is after a very long time of solitude. you build healthier thoughts and live a better life because there is less room for negativity. in the end truly, no one is an island. even if one tries to convince themselves that they are, it does not diminish the need. it is a longing to want to experience love with other people, it cannot be replaced with being busy, achievements or having pets. the connection is essential so make the effort and enrich your social life, it is worth it. comment learning to balance posted on december 28, 2017 by luna in uncategorized life is too unpredictable. the effort of trying to put together a plan that will keep me sane is always distorted by unexpected events. it is challenging to figure out having the right balance every time. there is comfort in knowing i am not alone in this so i took a step in finding out easy flexible ways that can help us out so we can live uncluttered lives. having life all in good order can sound strange to many of us, as we don’t understand just how and where to start. having a balanced life means different things to different people. for me, it means peace. to be able to handle all the responsibilities of life in an easier manner, that the work, social and any other part of my life is accounted for without feeling drained or out of control. the internal and external we need to put in mind that there are two areas when it comes to balance, the external factors like work and the internal part like our hearts. often, we focus on one area while we neglect the other. the internal is basically the well-being of the mind, body and soul. the external is the environment like work, family and entertainment. stress comes from either neglecting or paying too much attention to one of these. to help us level it all up, we can try the following. study yourself you will need to be truly honest with yourself. find out what are you are not paying attention to and what is being over emphasized. don’t expect to do this perfectly at a go, be patient with yourself. plan after having a good idea of what needs to be changed, set out a plan. start from the end goals working backwards. break it down in bite sizes so you do not feel like it is too much work. the achievements need to be realistic so again, be honest with you. with every success give yourself a pat in the back and encourage yourself. it is just like washing the driveway , plan for it, plan for everything. patience the change cannot take place all at once, give yourself time to adjust and see the difference. use methods that work well for you. you will need to make the choice to be committed it will pay in the long run. always take time after a while to look back and make necessary changes. prepare for challenges no one understands your struggles more than you do. prepare for the times you will feel like giving up. what will you do or say? when the thoughts that encourage you to compromise and not to take this seriously come, have your answers ready. it is too easy to act based on how we feel instead of acting out of responsibility but it bears little fruit. it will not feel like it at first but the more you push the thoughts aside, the feelings soon fall into place. support seek help from people you can trust enough to hold you accountable and encourage you on the way. if you can find people who have achieved what you hope for and have a support system with them if you have similar goals the better. helping you helps me breaking a habit is a challenge. personally, i’ve been trying to have balance myself and i hope these tips will help both you and i. they teach me to mind my priorities and that it is important to take care of oneself. when faced with a challenge, face it with a better mindset. it will reduce the energy one uses when stressed out. comment studying music https://youtu.be/dkqwgummsak style pinterest board favorite game app favorite twitter feed
